Augrabies Falls National Park - Augrabies, Green Kalahari, Northern Cape
Camp & Live Featured Resort
Augrabies Falls National Park with (tarred access roads) is 120km west of Upington and 40km north-west of Kakamas. The Khoi people call it “Aukoerebis”, the place of the great noise, referring to the Orange River’s downhill thunder of 60m in a breathtaking waterfall. A network of board footpaths (some wheelchair friendly) provides easy access to the falls, which are now illuminated at night. The caravan and camping sites are located in a shady area. All the sites have power points, also ablution and braai facilities.
